The Waverly Academy faculty is an esteemed group of scholars and practitioners who provide a rich source of knowledge and experience. Faculty members combine real-world and academic knowledge to augment their theoretical training.

Mr. Harris:

Mr. Harris has been teaching calculus here at Waverly Academy for the last seven years. Before taking the position as the head of the mathematics department, Mr. Harris worked with Protractors Without Borders as a civil engineer for the developing world. Aside from course work, Mr. Harris has coached the Track and Field team to three consecutive Lauerola Cup seasons.

Mrs. Hatfield:

Waverly is proud to welcome our newest staff member, Mrs. Hatfield to our Language Arts department. Mrs. Hatfield’s chart topping first publication The Preposition Imposition: Keep Your Laws Off of my Oeuvre caused no shortage of controversy in the linguistic world. Students interested in Mrs. Hatfield’s Grammar Analysis classes are encouraged to sign up quickly.

Ms. Lambert:

Ms. Lambert’s career began right here at Waverly some time ago. After graduating with honors, she spent fifteen years as an Analytical Chemist for Carbolic Industries. Upon her return to Waverly she was quickly offered the position of Chemistry Department head. Her innovative teaching methods have garnered recognition from the Allen B. Swain Institute for Molecular Preparedness, and well as a Silver Mortarboard nomination. Ms Lambert is now accepting applications for teacher’s assistants for all AP Chemistry classes.

Mrs. Arlington:

Mrs. Arlington comes to Waverly after making her mark as editor in chief of Line and Light magazine, the world’s premiere visual criticism quarterly. Known for her staunch traditionalist views and the pivotal role she played in the early career of some of the working art world’s strongest voices, Waverly is proud to have Mrs. Arlington on staff.
